My yoga journey started in 2013 when a friend introduced me to a Power Yoga Vinyasa class. Like many, I went for the physical benefits. I used yoga as an outlet for my active lifestyle. I grew up as a competitive figure skater, tennis player and downhill skier. I was always on the go.

As my yoga practice grew, so did my curiosity about how yoga could help heal physical and mental challenges. What I didn’t realize was the subtle transitions that yoga was making in my life. I’ve learned the practice of real self-love and care: mind, body and spirit. I am working to always be the best version of myself and to live authentically in each moment, and I want to share that with other yogis. Yoga has awarded me with patience, acceptance, and integrity. I’ve learned that I am stronger than I think I am and my breath is my most powerful tool.

Teaching has always been a part of my life, whether I was teaching on the ski slopes or currently in the elementary classroom for over 30 years.

My yoga training started with Baptiste Level One Training in 2015. I completed my 200 hour Teacher Training with Yogis In Service, Inc. and Kids Yoga Baptiste Certified. I absolutely love teaching yoga to children. My most most rewarding experiences are when I can give back to the Buffalo community through Yogis In Service, a non-profit organization that offers yoga to those that do not have access.

When I’m not practicing yoga, I enjoy spending time with my amazing husband and two grown sons. Skiing, biking, running and visiting vineyards (anything outdoors) are at the top of my list! I am honored to be a part of the Mind Body Flow Team and community.
