As I sit down to write this note and begin to reflect, I am reminded of the anxiousness and hope that I had in my heart seven years ago at this time, when the doors of Mind Body Flow Yoga were gearing up for opening.

I couldn’t wait to open the studio’s doors and meet all of you…each and every one of you…our amazing community. I had finally moved past the fear of it all and taken this major leap of faith to open up a yoga studio.

All that was left at that point, was to open the doors and hope that my studio would touch and transform lives one by one.

Back to the Basics – Part 1

Here we are now, nearly seven years later. Mind Body Flow Yoga will turn seven years old on March 12th, and I can’t tell you how amazed I am when I look back on this journey.

What started off as a dream that seemed impossible, has turned into a community of incredible human beings who come into the studio day after day…and work, sweat, laugh, cry, grow, elevate, shift, transform, amaze themselves, turn “I can’t” into “I can,” encourage one another, and so much more. To bear witness to your journey, growth, and breakthroughs on the mat, is something that I can’t even put into words.

It’s powerful and so humbling.

I can’t thank you all enough for your continued support and for showing up and doing the work, time and time again. You all are such an inspiration.

Mind Body Flow Yoga is Mind Body Flow Yoga because of you!

As we forge ahead into the month of March, already 3 months into this new year now…I encourage you to ask yourself, “What is it that I can give birth to?”

  • Is there a dream that you’re sitting on?
  • Is there an idea or a thought that you want to put into action?
  • Is there a relationship you wish to foster or deepen?
  • Are there certain postures in your yoga practice that you shy away from out of fear of feeling vulnerable or fear of falling?

Looking back, I never would have imagined that I would have given birth to a yoga studio. The things which often seem totally impossible, are often the things that bring forward the greatest joys, freedom, and blessings, if we simply have faith and stay the course.

What can you give birth to and what perhaps is stopping you? Remembering that life is precious and a gift…go out and give birth to something great!
